A common question for visitors to Iceland is whether it’s best to drive Iceland’s Route 1 ring road in a clockwise or anti-clockwise direction. Whislt we didn’t actually drive the entire ring on our trip (we probably covered around one third of it), I did plan to at first so spent quite a bit of time researching this issue. I hope my findings will help you make an informed decision as to what route is best for you.

Before tackling the question of whether to drive the ring road in a clockwise or anti-clockwise direction, I would first pose the question as to whether you do indeed want to cover the entire route. Virginia Lee “Ginny” Ellingsworth, 80, of Milford, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2022. She was born July 27, 1942, daughter of the late Ella Mae and Edward Purcell.

Ginny had a love for traveling with her family on vacations, and traveling to car shows with her beloved husband and friends. Along with traveling, she enjoyed shopping and spending time at the casino, and she had a soft spot for puppies and babies. Ginny enjoyed working and was a loyal employee of the companies she worked for. Her first job after high school was at Sussex Co. (IC Isaacs) for 25 years. She then switched occupations and began work with Sam Yoder & Son in Greenwood. It was 25 years later that her retirement began in 2013. She will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Whitmer, Dixon trade blows during fiery second debate in race for governor

Before the debate even began from Oakland University in Rochester Hills, it was clear the divide is large between two people vying for your vote – with both candidates on the offensive.

DETROIT (FOX 2) – Former President Barack Obama will be in Detroit this weekend to campaign for Gretchen Whitmer, who is locked in a consequential race for governor.
