    Just listened to the latest episode that touched on GW Facebook-gate …

    C’mon Pastors … Hemming and hawing and aw shucks …

    Would have preferred a clear rebuke for coarse jesting and lewdness, or for you to stand up against this pietist nonsense.

    What are you worried about? Any church that wouldn’t call you deserves the alternative they’d get. Paul’s ministry wasn’t very successful either … beaten, shipwrecked, slandered, from failure to failure …

    Just don’t like seeing you guys with your tales tucked between your legs. Remember Paul telling the Galatians to cut off the whole package if they are so insistent on being circumcised.

    Are you acting like Peter when the officials from Jerusalem showed up? Is that too harsh? What kind of message does that send to the rest of us?

    You Pastors are my heroes … I don’t know what the solution is, but don’t cave because you’re afraid of being thrown out of the temple. Put your trust in God even if you get your head cut off for it.

    Easy for me to say, right?

    Your discussion of toilets and or the lack of them brought to mind several thing I learned in the last year. In the early 1900′s John D. Rockefeller was trying to figure out why people in the South were unproductive, anemic, and weak. He discovered that the reason for the lack of productivity was hookworm. The problem was solved with outhouses so that people were no longer walking in one another’s poop and spreading hookworm. However the eradication of hookworm in the United States has now been linked to increased allergies and other problems where people’s immune systems are attacking them because the hookworm is not there to calm their immune systems down. Controlled, moderate, hookworm infections have now been used to help peopl deal with asthma, MS, diabetes, and Crohn’s disease.

    Another problem caused by the modern toilet is the unnatural posture that it puts you in. People without modern toilets do not suffer from hemorrhoids and colon cancer like those with modern toilets do. This website sells a platform that is supposed to replicate the more traditional squatting position: http://www.naturesplatform.com/ I have yet to talk my wife into it.

    Sort of like “if a listener whines about something in a forest, and nobody hears, does he make a sound” @:}
