Episode 160: The Life of Craig Donofrio

Manly Doctor Donofrio talks about his favorite topic in the world, himself, and the career benefits of dropping out of school.  Also another musical offering from listener Jason M. Kaspar called “Dreifache der Gottesfuesterer” (whatever that means), readings in the life of Mrs. Miller, the patron saint of the GW, a rare track from GW organist Chris Loemker entitled “Organtallica” and a brief but scintillating discussion on sacrificial thankofferings from 2 Corinthians.

Music credits:

“Loving You is Like Frying Bacon Nekkid” – Roger Alan Wade

“Strangers in the Night” – Mrs. Miller

“Theme from Gilligan’s Island”

“Jesus is a Friend of Mine” – Sonseed

I was listening to you manly doctors this morning before beginning my day teaching in a public high school in Ontario, Canada. I was still laughing about Mrs. Miller when my students started coming in so i youtubed one of her greatest hit. I fear I may have started a rebirth of her celebrity. God forgive me! Thanks for the giggles and nuggets of wisdom you send out on the cybersphere!

Mrs. Miller has strong cross-generational appeal.

Hey! Doc’s of divinity! It’s the 21st of October!  Why no podcast this past week? … did y’all go & get your selfs all RAPTURED? Great, now I’ll have to listen to that wank Larry Norman 24-7 and use all my bags of gold up for wonderbread! Way to go, thanks for nothing. Now all I’ll have to listen to is old recordings of evangelical teaching of Revelations for the next 6 years!

  4. Funny, I dropped out of High School too. Parents thought it was the end. Best decision I ever made if you ask me.
