Day 1; Arrival
You will be welcomed by our company representative upon your arrival at Entebbe airport on your 14 days gorilla trekking Uganda tours and transferred to the Lodge where you will unwind, dinner and overnight stay at Cassia Lodge.
Day 2; Transfer to Murchison falls National Park
enjoy breakfast and drive to Murchison falls national park. It will take you around 5 hours from Kampala with about 305 km. You will enter through Kichumbanyobo gate. Paara covers a distance of about 85km from Masindi town by the shortest route. You will visit the top of the falls and then proceed to Murchison River Lodge (thatched tents) for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3; Game drive and launch cruise – Murchison Falls
Early morning breakfast and then go for a game drive where you will spot various animal species like elephants, giraffes, lions, Uganda kobs among others. In the afternoon you will go for a launch cruise on the park’s main tourist attraction the unique Murchison Falls as well as the River Nile with its streaming hippo and serried ranges of crocodile along the sandbanks, as well as large numbers of different species getting down to drink & bathe. Day 4; Transfer to Kibale National Park
You will have breakfast and then drive to Kibale national park. This is a full day drive. You will have lunch en-route on your 14 days gorilla trekking Uganda tours. Dinner and overnight stay at Chimpanzee forest guest house
Day 5; Chimpanzee trekking- Kibale forest
Have early morning breakfast and go for briefing and start chimpanzee trekking. Kibale Forest National Park is one of the best safari destinations in Africa for chimpanzee tracking. Kibale’s 795km2 National Park contains one of the most beautiful and with the most varying tracts of tropical forest in the whole of Uganda. This is place to a number of forest wildlife, most especially 13 species of primate coupled with chimpanzees.
After trekking, you will have lunch and then visit Bigodi wetland where you will experience a lot of bird life and unspoilt nature! Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Chimpanzee forest guest houseas above.
Day 6; Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park.
You will have breakfast and transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park where you will arrive well in time for lunch. Enjoy your lunch and unwind at your lodge or embark on a brief evening game drive. Dinner and overnight at Enganzi Game Lodge.
Day 7; Game drive and launch cruise- Queen Elizabeth National Park
You will go for early morning game drive in the Kasenyi sector, you may spot various animals like the elephants, Uganda kobs, leopards among others. Return to the lodge for late breakfast, in the afternoon you will go for a launch cruise where you will spot various water animals like Hippos and crocodiles, the cruise will also enrich you with various water birds. Dinner and overnight as above.
Day 8; Transfer to Bwindi
After having your morning breakfast, you will set off for Bwindi passing through the Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth national park where you may spot some tree climbing lions. You will have lunch en-route, arriving in Bwindi in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight at Ichumbi Gorilla Lodge
Day 9; Gorilla trekking – Bwindi
After an early morning breakfast you will drive to the park headquarters for briefing and go for gorilla trekking, this could take 4-6 hours depending on the movements of the gorillas. After trekking, return for dinner and overnight at Ichumbi Gorilla Lodgeas above
Day 10; Lake Bunyonyi Tour
You will enjoy breakfast and transfer from Bwindi to Kabale where you will have lunch and proceed to Lake Bunyonyi where you will take a boat ride and tour the various islands with different experiences! Lake Bunyonyi literary means “a place of little birds” and as such you will experience a lot of bird life on the islands and get an insight into the peoples’ way of living as you visit the locals. Dinner and overnight at Bunyonyi Overland Resort
Day 11; Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park
You will enjoy breakfast and transfer to Lake Mburo national park with a stopover in Mbarara town for lunch and arriving in the evening. Dinner and overnight at Rwakobo Rock Hotel
Day 12: Game drive-Kampala
You will go for an early morning game drive; the park is home to herds of Impala, as well as the more uncommon Topi, Eland, and Klipspringer. Burchells Zebra and buffalo also graze these areas. Return to the lodge for late breakfast and lunch, the drive back to Kampala. Dinner and overnight at Cassia Lodge
Day 13: Kampala city tour
After breakfast you will do a city tour, visiting the Hindu temple, Uganda martyrs shrine Namugongo, Uganda museum, Kabaka’s lake, the craft village and many more. Later return to your lodge to unwind
OR, visit Jinja for rafting and back to Kampala in the evening. Dinner and overnight at Cassia Lodge.
Day 14; Airport Transfer
You will enjoy breakfast and transfer to Entebbe airport for your flight back home with fond memories of a Uganda safari.
