Your stating that your guests get one hour of conversation is a bit optimistic, I think! Isn’t it more like a half-hour or forty-five minutes after your “introduction?”

  2. [...] This post was mentioned on Twitter by The God Whisperers, Quinn Moerike. Quinn Moerike said: RT @Godwhisperers: Our special Reformation / All Saints edition is up. Great music, great conversation. http://tiny.cc/765kr [...]

Once you got going on your Reformation topic, you had a gem of a show! Until the closing, that is! ;-) These days, one can say “Nothing is certain but death, taxes, and GW’s closing song!” In these days of uncertainty, it’s nice that some things never change.

  4. Pr. Geoffrey Wagner says:

Hey guys…thanks for the “mention” in this show (wanna see my papers, Craig?). I won’t be offended if you use my name, not that I’m looking for any kind of recognition.

Anyway, if I heard/understood correctly, you mentioned that no one calls the Manly Drs hotline. I did a month and a half ago after listening to a show in which you mentioned smoked meats recommending a book. Again, not looking for any recognition, but you might want to check your messages, assuming Skype keeps them around that long.

Here’s something to give one an idea just how hard a good fastpitch is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_de3HJvO-N8
Granted, Jennie Finch is as good as they come.

On a completely unrelated note – I started from Ep 1 way back in July and have now listened to all your episodes in order. Get cranking on some new ones, asap – I need something to listen to at work! In case you need ideas for new episodes… James May of Lutherans in Africa would be good.
Get Chris Rosebrough for a 3rd mic episode.
Matthew Harrison (as soon as he has time, if he ever does).
Someone from the Swedish-Finnish Mission Province up here in our neck of the woods – give you a little insight on just how ‘brilliant’ life can be in a ‘Lutheran’ church that has around 80% membership (of the entire nation) and is as liberal as they come.
Biblical Canon, biblical inerrancy, ins and outs of ecumenism, 3rd mic editions with Greek Orthodox, Roman Catholic, Calvinist…
