  1. Gotta love Henning!
I need to find some of that Amarula stuff!

“Beautiful Savior”? Ugh. I seriously think that that hymn is the precursor to “Jesus is Better Than Football”- except instead of singing about how Jesus is better than football, it’s about how He is fairer than pretty spring flowers.

I think the list of top hymns was tabulated through use of Lutheran Service Builder. So it’s not necessarily what Lutherans love to sing, but what Lutheran pastors/worship committees with Lutheran Service Book love to make their people sing.

I’m inclined to agree here. This is hardly a list of the popular favorites, although that list would cause shudders as well.

Can you put Henning on on a regular basis. like every 3 to 4 weeks? A good addition would also be a conversation with James May from Lutherans in Africa to get another African perspective. This would also be a way to give a hearty hey-ho to Pr. Fisk.
